Anti-bullying campaign for the youth in Diepkloof

The anti-bullying campaign that took place at the Diepkloof Multi-Purpose Hall taught the kids and all who attended all about grace and not picking on each other because sometimes other people’s lives depend on it.

The Deputy Chairperson For the NPO based in Diepkloof, Iris Hlole attended the programme and on the last day, she said, “We are trying to take the children out of the streets to separate them from the corruption from there.

“Plus the programme has taught the youth that bullying is wrong, and it is a lifetime journey, whether another kid has or doesn’t have something, that should never be a subject and reason to bully.”

Hlole went on to thank the executive members and everyone who was involved in the programme that began on 17 June.

The Coordinator for the programme, Simphiwe Cangwe celebrated the success of the programme and mentioned the difficulties they encountered and had to go over in making the programme a reality he said they are all so grateful to see the successful end of such a productive and building programme.

The youth from Diepkloof attended the programme and learned all about the consequences of bullying one another.
Cangwe said, “The Anti-Bullying Campaign that took a few days saw the youth went through spiritual programmes, financial programmes and personal development programmes brought by Tshepo Thekiso of the Positive Light Foundation because the youth needs such programmes and knowledge to help empower them.”
