Watch: President Cyril Ramaphosa arriving at Hitekani Primary School to cast his vote

The voting station packed as voters and supporters cheer for the president #IMadeMyMark


President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived at 11am at Hitekani Primary School in Chiawelo welcomed by Gauteng Premier David Makhura.



Residents in Chiawelo who also made their mark at the same voting station where President Ramaphosa made his mark share their excitement.

Gladys Phakula:

I’m happy that I managed to cast my vote here in Chiawelo. I’m also happy to see my leader President Ramaphosa.
“Voting was important to me.
“The was nothing bad at elections,” said Phakula.


Daisy Motale.

“I am happy that everything well in this elections and nothing went wrong.
“We were also made to skip the queue as elderly people,” said Motale.


 

Nditsheni Ndzeru.

“I came early to cast my vote and I was happy to get a nice treatment from the people who were helping us.
“Seeing the President in his home town was also a great deal of happiness in me,” said Ndzeru.
