Mandla Makhoba they need you at home

It’s sad but true, everyday people go missing and ones are lucky to find their family member alive because normally they turn up dead. And having a loved one go missing could be a very traumatic experience.

On April 6 Mandla Makhoba went missing and until this day he is not found. The 31-year-old was wearing a green golf t-shirt and blue jeans.

The Makhoba family didn’t expect that one day they have to go through a very painful experience of reporting a missing person. It is alleged that he was going to Pimville as he resides at Dube Village.

One of the family member, Bafana Makhoba describes Mandla as a person who is friendly, kind, respectful, and people person. “It is depressing because we don’t have know where he is and what is happening to him.”



“I urge everyone within Soweto or anywhere who has seen Mandla to help us to find or trace him because we want to know what is happening to him. Mandla please come back home, if you have a problem please let us know but the last time he was happy here at home and we are worried about him,” he said.

“We have checked with relatives, friends, hospitals, police station, and morgue but still we don’t find him. We have been looking for him since he went missing but couldn’t Mandla,” added Makhoba.

Mandla Makhoba was reported missing at Orlando Police Station and a missing person’s case was opened. Detective Warrant Officer, Khazamula Mabunda said, “We appeal to anyone who might have seen him or know his whereabouts to assist in finding him.”
