Breaking news: Diepkloof declares shutdown over prepaid meters
Diepkloof residents fed up with Eskom's prepaid
The residents from Diepkloof woke up very early in the morning of February 22 to close all entrances and exits from Diepkloof, declaring a Shut down.
Gogo Thabita Yende exclaimed that the people were shot at instead of being listened to. We are just making a public protest not fighting and vandalisng anything.
John Sobantu Sibeko said that “How they came and shot at us unprovoked is just not reasonable. We closed the streets in peace as it is even know by Eskom.”
