Business owner’s body found in Zola

Three men allegedly had demanded their money and after not getting paid, they then decided to kill their employer with a knife and buried him at a cemetery in Jabulani.

A business owner in Zola was allegedly brutally killed and buried in Jabulani last Tuesday following a misunderstanding about money.

According to police reports, the information on the murder was provided by the owner of the Zola coal yard.

Upon investigating the matter, police found that the man that was referred to was an African male aged 45-years-old known to be a foreigner who owed his three employees an undisclosed amount of money.

According to reports, these three men had demanded their money and after not getting paid, they then decided to kill their employer with a knife and buried him at a cemetery in Jabulani.

“According to what we heard, they got away with his motor vehicle and that is how the police manage to catch them, as they were using a motor vehicle that belongs to the deceased.

“The three suspects aged 28 – 30 years old have been arrested have already appeared at the Protea Magistrate Court, their bail was denied,” said Phindile Mauso, the communications spokesperson from Jabulani Police Station.
