LISTEN: Protea Glen Ext 24 shutdown
Residents have shutdown the streets of Protea Glen extension 24 and neighbouring areas since early morning.
Residents have barricaded roads leading in and out of Protea Glen extension 24 in protest of the electricity shutdown by Eskom.
Residents say Eskom has turned their electricity off since Monday due to them allegedly not buying enough electricity according to their consumption reports.
A delegation has been sent to the Eskom offices in Randfontein and residents are currently waiting for word back from them.
