Don Dada pays tribute to Mandela
The song has reached Double Platinum within 4 months
Local Artist Menelik Nesta Gibbons well known as Don Dada has achieved a great deal as a Hip Hop artist and social media influencer in Mzansi.
He made his professional debut on the 2016 Mandela Day Concert stage and has since added an impressive list of accolades to his portfolio.
In 2017 he received an offer from Content Africa to do the 2017 Mandela song. This fueled the birth of his VIVA Mandela song supported by CCA, MTNSA and has relevant Nelson Mandela Foundation permissions. The song reached Double Platinum within 4 months.
He then released a remix of VIVA Mandela featuring the legendary Mahotella Queens, which he launched on the prestige Mandela Day 2018 launch stage held in Constitutional Hill.
