Police need your help to identify deceased

Appeal to identify deceased.

Police officers discovered a dead body on November 24 last year in Foundry Road, which is close to the N12 or Golden Highway. According to the Eldorado Park police communications officer, the corpse was discovered at about 11 pm and has still not been identified.

Khobo said, “Photographs are not available due to the fact that the body is not a pleasant sight to look at. When police officers found the body, it was covered in blood.”

Police have confirmed that this is the body of a coloured male in his late teens and have provided a description of the clothing worn by the deceased.

“He wore school uniform, namely; grey school trousers, a navy blue dry mac, navy blue takkies with white stripes and grey school socks,” said Khobo.

Their investigations into the possible ways in which the youth could have died suggest that he was crossing the Golden Highway and may have been struck by a passing vehicle.

Police are asking anyone with information which may assist in identifying the victim to contact detective constable Sherrol Nkadimeng on 011 946 0389 or 073 270 8811.
