Young disabled Jessica Hlau got her home renovated to the condition that would make life easier for her. The renovation came after years of struggling from the young lady who uses a wheelchair, however, her bubbly self had already made friends with the people that were renovating, she couldn’t hide her joy as she insisted to take a photo with them as well in their work suits.
Wilbert Dladla of Base 5 Guard which is the company or organisation that made the renovation possible said, “Today teaches us about the value of giving back, its a precious moment for us because we saw the mission from start till its accomplishment.”
The owner and founder of Base 5 Guard, Lucky Mshimane kept on encouraging the youth that was available to never forget Ubuntu and their roots. Mshimane said, “We are in a race to give back, I’ve been at it for the past 25 years and this gift was a pre celebration of my birthday on the 31 December.”
Mshimane was with wife and son, Tshiamo Mshimane who said, “We look up to my dad man, and desire to follow his footsteps.”
Lucky Mshimane said, “We are thrilled to accomplish such a mission. The young lady will now enjoy and mature in a warm home with a conducive environment.”
