Phiri’s TV show, The Journey, nominated for SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards

Pastor Enoch Phiri who is a TV personality, serves as a senior pastor of Restoration House, a church based in Soweto.

Phiri touches millions of people through his Taking Dominion programme on television across the African continent.

Phiri hosts a show on channel 331 called the Journey which is deeply loved by different age groups. His show on One Gospel profiles prominent South Africans who have strived to the top against all odds.



He has hosted on his show the likes of Advocate Thulie Madonsela, Kabelo Mabalane, Pastor Benjamin Dube, Chriselda Dudumashe, Dr Tumi, Sophie Ndaba, David Tlale, Mbongeni Ngema and many other local celebrities.

Zanele Mbokazi the Founder of the SABC Crown Gospel Awards said, ” we are hectic but this is a good kind of hectic. This is the busiest time for us. Of course, hosting something like the Crown Awards takes some doing and it requires a lot of us.

Phiri has been open about the issue of land restitution, vocalizing his belief that the challenges facing South Africans today are due to the fact that land and economic transformation was not properly managed by the government. He has been vocal on key national issues such as corruption, crime in general, women and child abuse.
