Police release identity kit of wanted man following Naledi business robbery

Crime stop on 08600 10111 or SMS crime line at 32211.

The police have become aware of the spite in business robberies that have been occurring at the Pep Store in Naledi and are now on the lookout for suspects linked to the crimes.

It is alleged by the complainant that about 6 men entered the Naledi Pep store pretending to buy cellphones but later pointed at them with firearms.

The suspects then took an undisclosed amount of money, cellphones, cosmetics and memory cards before fleeing the scene in a green Toyota Corolla.



An identity kit has been released and the police need assistance in locating an African male suspect aged between 33 and 36, dark in complexion, slender, short in height.

The suspect is believed to be injured on the right hand and was limping and he was speaking IsiZulu.

The police are appealing to anyone who may assist in tracking the suspect down to come forward and the information they provide will be treated as confidential.

The public is urged not to apprehend the suspect as he may be armed and dangerous, but should rather call the nearest police station or crime stop on 08600 10111 or SMS crime line at 32211 or contact Constable Kubayi on 076 955 5544.
