Adrenaline junkies can feed off the SA Bike Fest this weekend

You can never have too much adrenaline in your body, catch all the fun stunts and new motorbike models at South Africa’s fun-filled festival this weekend.

The South African Bike Festival will be premiering on the weekend of May 26 to 28th at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. Returning for the second time, it is back due to popular demand from members in the industry.

This festival is not just about the bikes but also about families and children to have photos taken and getting autographs from the riders each day down by the main stage.

This will be an action-packed weekend and a day out for visitors with heaps of 2-wheel action for all ages, sizes, and know-how.

Attendees can expect to see the very best the motorcycle industry has to offer for three days of unmatched fun for the whole family.

There will be a round of “The SuperGP Champions Trophy racing“. This is the 1000cc series, practicing and qualifying on Friday. Races will be on Saturday and Sunday and will start at 2 pm both days.

Biker entertaining the crowd.

For adrenaline junkies, expect the weekend evening to be lit up with “Flight Night”.

“That is a spectacle of death-defying tricks, jumps & stunts from 3 of the very best Pilot riders with 3 epic night-time performances. Those who are the local elite riders, local elite”, Alastair Sayer and Dallan Goldman together with an international rider.

The trio will be training, performing and competing with the greats from Masters of Dirt, X-Games, Nitro Games, & more. Bike lovers will also have the opportunity to buy test rides to take 2 laps around the circuit on the new 2017 models called “Circuit Test Rides“.

The online sales are now sold out, so visitors can buy these rides on the day at the festival.

Manufacturers involved are KTM, Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Can-Am Spyder, BMW Motorrad, Honda, Indian Motorcycles, Zontes.

Each brand is bringing up to 9 models each for visitors to choose from. All the top SuperBikes like the SuperDuke R, Honda Fireblade, BMW S 1000RR and Yamaha R1 are already sold out. Visitors must bring their own helmet & riding jacket, and you MUST have a license for the models.

Yamaha and BMW insist on full licenses. All the other models will take learners licenses too. Don’t miss out! This is your opportunity to be part of the next generation in motorcycling.
