Tladi: Warm send-off to selfless worker

Residents were emotional as they spend their last moments with their companionate social worker.

The Tladi youth friendly services with the Naledi LDAC and youth Desk gave one of the caring social workers to work in Tladi a warm send off last week to honour his great work.

This comes after Melusi Ramara is said to leave his Tladi social worker post in search for greener pastures as he will be working in Randburg.

Ramara has been serving the Tladi community with his humility and respect for six years but has already left an irreversible mark on the community.

His character and dedication to his work are what has made him a force to reckoned with when it comes to resolving and dealing with family and community social issue.

Held at the Moletsane Sports Complex, his send -off was graced by his former colleagues, leader of Naledi LDAC Lindi Radiokana and former Ward 21 Councillor Mahlomola Kekana.

“The people of Tladi have lost a truly special person.

“The one thing that stands out about Melusi is his selflessness.

“I have never met a person who has given himself to the community like he has, he is the kind of person who would help me out in my work with LDAC even though it’s not part of his job, all because he sees the greater purpose of building the community,” said his former colleague Lindi Radiokana.
