Early this, members of the Soweto East Cluster Intervention found 826 bags containing Nyaope worth R17 420.00 in cash inside a motor vehicle.

According to the Meadowlands Police Spokesperson, Octavia Thebe, members of cluster intervention were patrolling in Meadowlands when they came across a white Ford Figo.

“They approached the vehicle and found a school bag with drugs and money.”

Thebe said that the suspect was arrested and detained at the Meadowlands Police Station.

The case is currently under investigation.
