Zola Primary comes first

Pupils show the community the importance of hard work and teamwork

Zola Primary School has once again come out on top, winning the title of being the top athletic school in the ENZO cluster.

The competition was held in Lenasia where numerous schools from Zola and Emndeni converged to compete for 2017’s number 1 spot at the cluster level.

Their next competing stage took place at the University of Johannesburg Soweto campus over the past weekend where Zola Primary competed against numerous school from Soweto.

60 pupils between ages 9 and 11 competed in Lenasia to earn the school a spot in the district competitions in Soweto.

Out of that 60, 29 pupils proved themselves to be winning material, taking the school into the provincial stages where Zola Primary will be competing with pupils from other schools around the province.

On Saturday, four pupils earned Gold medals while two more pupils got a Silver and another 2 pupils earned Bronze medals.
