For those who wish to ease the January blues and make a positive transition into the new year, EldosFM and the Soweto Theatre in Jabulani are hosting a comedy weekend.
This will be the first annual ‘Eldos invades Soweto’ comedy weekend and will kick off on February 3rd through February 5th this year. The laugh fest will start at 7pm and end at 10pm with tickets charged at R120,00 per person.
Local comics Joey Rasdien, Prins , Dillan Oliphant and Charles Ash will entertain crowds with their comedic genius. Tickets can be purchased at your local PicknPay, online via the webtickets purchasing facility, or at the event.
According to Li-Ann Willemse (, presenter at EldosFM, organisers wish to showcase the abundant talent available locally and encourage aspirant comedians to participate.
