CPF thanks patrollers for hard work

The forum is a group of people from different communities and police representatives who meet to discuss safety problems in their communities.

The Community Policing Forum Executive Committee led by chairperson Kenneth Goniwe Ka Mgobozi has acknowledged the work done by patrollers and thanked them for the energy they give when doing their jobs.

Ka Mgobozi said all the patrollers in all five sectors are making a great contribution in the fight against crime.

He said the CPF has managed to achieve so much because of them and hopefully will continue to do the same.

“There are many dedicated patrollers working tirelessly round the clock to protect the community and others have gone as far as forming street and block committees,” he said.

Ka Mgobozi said their partnership with the South African Police Service, Department of Community Safety and other stakeholders will continue to bear fruit, as it has been the case over the years.

The EXCO said this will be a very busy year for them as they aim to double their effort.
