The Meadowlands police are looking for unknown suspect/s responsible for the murder of an unknown man.
According to the Meadowlands police spokesperson Octavia Thebe, the police received a complaint from the member of the public about an unknown body of a male person between the ages of 20 and 30 years old laying in an open veld between Mzimhlophe hostel and the train station in Meadowland Soweto.
The paramedics certified him dead on their arrival.
The motive of the killing is yet to be established trough further investigation.
It was noticed that the body had gunshots on his upper body.
Thebe said that no arrests have been made and the police request anybody with information that could lead to the arrest of these gun weakling suspects to call meadowland police on 011 983 3374.
“We further urge members of the public not to take the law unto their hands and not to try to apprehend the suspects as they are deemed to be extremely dangerous.”
