Naledi SAPS secures 89 convictions

Convicted men and women have begun serving their sentences.

The Moroka SAPS detectives have managed to secure 89 convictions during September in Zola, Naledi,and Jabavu.

The convicted men and women have already started serving their sentences in their designated prisons for crimes ranging from housebreaking, theft, car hijacking, armed robbery, theft, common assault and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

The spokesperson for Moroka SAPS Constable John Serala said, “We would like to thank the communities for their assistance and testimonies that ensured that the law took its course.”

The police have been hard at work against crime in Soweto.
