A total of two men have been killed and three others injured after a mob justice incident Fleurhof, west of Johannesburg.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at the block of flats to find fire services in attendance, battling the blaze that had taken hold on one of the flats.

On assessment, paramedics found the bodies of two men lying a short distance away from the flat. One had sustained a stab wound to the back while the other had sustained serious burn wound.

According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, both men showed no signs of life and they were declared dead on the scene.

The remaining three men were found with bruises and lacerations over most of their bodies.
