Champion coaches urged to book their seats for the Black Label Cup

Fans are urged to cast their votes for their favourite Black Label Cup team and become the champion coach.

Champion coaches of Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates face an intriguing off-season as their clubs prepare to start afresh with the additions of new players ahead of the Carling Black Label Champion Cup at FNB Stadium on July 30.

The match which is the highlight of the South African pre-season will likely provide fans with a first glimpse of the new players to don their famous jerseys and will come after supporters have been starved of live action for some two months.

It’s for that reason that tickets are already selling fast for the showpiece fixture that has the extra twist of the supporters taking over as coaches for the day and selecting the starting line-ups of the teams.

The competition has seen the sold out each year since its inception in 2011 and this year is expected to be no different as the Soweto clubs gear up for this exciting event.

Fans are urged to book their seat for the action now to avoid disappointment and be part of the rich history of the Soweto derby. The competition is a fixture that captures the imagination of fans by putting the power of team selection into their hands.

Once again this year, supporters are still afforded the opportunity to keep shaping their starting line-up. The match day champion coaches allow two lucky fans to experience their team in training, sit in the pre-match briefing and be part of their favourite team.
