Famous actor Tshepo 'Thiza' Ngwane dies at a Jabulani hospital after short illness.
Tshepo Ngwane (39), better know as ‘Thiza’ died at the Bheki Mlangeni District Hospital, Jabulani, Soweto  on Tuesday.
The actor born July 21 1976 was well known for his roles on Yizo Yizo and Zone 14.
He was admitted to hospital after suffering from an illness and spent two weeks before he passed on.
“We are not at liberty to disclose the cause of death, the family is at liberty to do so.
“We can confirm that he spent two weeks at hospital and he died at around 5:02pm on Tuesday,” said the hospital’s communications officer Jerry Mosasane.
Born and raised in Ermelo in Mpumalanga, Ngwane moved to Johannesburg in 1995 and got his first break in an acting career after scoring a contract with Backstage in 2001.
His career then flourished when he joined SABC 1’s Yizo Yizo and later stared on Zone 14 in 2005.
