Finance MEC Creecy visits Dobsi and Ndofaya

There are many avenues entrepreneurs can pursue to benefit from government services.

Finance MEC Barbara Creecy visited Meadowlands, Dobsonville Industrial Park and Roodepoort illegal mining site as part of the Ntirhisano Campaign.

Creecy was accompanied by Gauteng Economic Development MEC, Lebogang Maile and ward councillors plus police convoys.

The Ntirhisano Campaign is about service delivery and the creation of economic opportunities.

It is also aimed to institutionalise rapid proactive engagements with communities on local transformation and community development issues.

In Meadowlands, Creecy said she met with entrepreneurs, owners and business chambers encouraging them to register on the Gauteng Provincial Government central database.

“We are simply fulfilling premier David Makhura‘s vision of uplifting businesses by supporting them,” she said.

Creecy said: “Some businesses face a financial challenge whilst others do not have knowledge of how to benefit from government services.”

She said this road show allowed them to hear first hand concerns and difficulties business people encounter.
