Watch: Ntirhisano outreach programme hits Orlando
Government goes back to communities to unlock service delivery.
Yesterday, Gauteng Premier David Makhura and members of the executive council (MEC’s) visited the Orlando Community Hall, to assess service delivery progress and engage with the community.
Makhura said, “The visit is part of the Ntirhisano (working together) service delivery war room programme and is in line with the provincial government’s commitment of being an active and responsive government.
“Some of the issues that were discussed with the Diepkloof and Orlando East residents included drug abuse, electricity prepaid meters, dysfunctional street lights, potholes and unprocessed title deeds.”
