SANCO Chairperson, Oupa Radebe said part of the memorandum that they are marching to handover to Eskom states that Eskom must leave Soweto if they can’t meet demand.
Comrade Dada from the ANC questioned how Eskom can switch off power in the economic hub of South Africa.
“Johannesburg is the economic hub of South Africa, I fail to understand how they can stop production.
“Eskom must leave Soweto and City Power must come in,” he said.
