Another sewerage leak in Protea South

After Johannesburg Water had fixed a sewerage pipe in Protea South last week, another one leaked on Tuesday.

The dirty water is not healthy for people living nearby.

The community hasn’t called on Johannesburg Water to fix the leakage.

Children were seen playing on the pool caused by the sewerage.

Philip Sithole, one of the residents in Protea South said that even if they fix the sewerage, another one will burst after fixing the other because that’s what always happens.

The community suggests that new pipes be installed because the pipes burst every now and then.
