Youth managers bid farewell to Mpho
Sad farewell as Annika Proy goes back to Austria.
Youth managers from Emshukantambo Senior Secondary School, recently bid farewell to their beloved exchange student, Annika ‘Mpho’ Proy.
Mpho spent six months as a pupil at Emshukantambo Senior Secondary School and learnt everything from her teachers and her fellow pupils.
“I am happy that I am going back home but I am very sad that I am leaving South Africa. This place has played a big part in my life and I will forever be grateful to everyone here,” Mpho said.
“Our girls soccer team will never be the same as Mpho played a huge role in each and every game they played. She brought a certain flair to everything she was part of and we will forever miss her,” said Pule Hlahane, a teacher at the school.
