The Pick n Pay in Maponya Mall was robbed early Monday morning and now the store manager’s car was stolen yesterday.
“Four armed men stormed into the Pick n Pay and took off with an undisclosed amount of money. The unknown men have been identified by the cctv footage for Monday’s robbery,” said Kliptown Police spokesperson, Thuli Ngwenya.
Ngwenya said a case of theft for a motor vehicle has been opened and the investigation for the business robbery is underway.
“We are not sure if the two cases are linked, however, we are doing everything that is in our power to solve the two crimes. We urge everyone to be vigilant when they go do their shopping,” she said.
