Prelim exams underway

The time has come for the class of 2014 to be tested.

Today thousands of matriculants will sit to write their national computer applications technology paper one preliminary examination.

This is the second national examination that the pupils will be partaking in as the first one was written last week Friday.

On September 3 the pupils will write their first provincial examination of Afrikaans first additional language paper two and the English first additional language paper two.

Pupils are still continuing with preparations in schools while also trying to beat the nerves.

Dr Beyers Naude Secondary School pupils say even though some of them are worried, they are ready and believe they will do well.

A pupil Siyabonga Ndlovu said its been challenging having to learn all these subjects in such a shot space of time.

Lindokuhle Maduna said one of the most important things for them is to learn how to manage their time wisely as this will also be key in their exams.

The school staff has wished all matriculants well during this crucial time.
