Electrical appliances from computers and televisions were looted at Senyamo Primary School in Dobsonville.
Apparently criminals demolished a wall to gain access into the class where the valuables were kept.
It is alleged that this was an inside job.
No further information has been revealed.
The principal was not found for comment.
A school employee Pheello Kotelo said the incident has affected things at the school since pupils aren’t able to visit the lab.
Kotelo said the matter was reported to the district and the police.
“We suspect that this may be an inside job but we aren’t sure at the moment about the whole situation,” he said.
