Methodist Church marches against evil acts

Church pledges against evil activities.

The Methodist Church of Southern Africa held a peaceful march to the site where two former George Khosa Secondary School girls were found dead.

They marched from the church near Enkolweni Primary School, stopped at Kopanong, George Khosa and at Mphephetho Street for short prayers.

They were accompanied by Dobsonville police and the Emergency Management Services.

Simphiwe Tshawe from the church said: “Young people from the church wanted to express themselves with regards to the crime and other evil activities damaging the image of the Dobsonville community.”

The church handed over a pledge to the police, pledging that their church was against societal evil activities.
