Eldos police warn e-hailing drivers of voice note threat

Police urge Bolt and Uber drivers to avoid Eldorado Park following violent threats against them.

Eldorado Park police have expressed concern about a voice note that has been widely shared on social media platforms, whereby the author threatens to harm Uber and Bolt drivers when they accept requests and drop off clients at Eldorado Park.

According to Eldorado Park SAPS Communication Officer, Sergeant Fezeka Khobo, this stems from an incident which happened two weeks ago, where three guys were shot by an Uber driver while attempting to rob him.
