Free health screenings for children and elderly

Free health services at ASHA Pre-School.

ASHA Pre-School in Dlamini have teamed up with Health Department to host a free health screening seminar for residents next Wednesday (June 11).

The event organiser Mpho Mugivhi said the seminar will also help residents to stay fit and healthy during this winter season.

“We have also invited other health organisations which will offer free health services such as high blood check-ups, vaccination, HIV testing and issuing of ARVs and also counseling,”said Mugivhi.

“This winter we want to make sure that all residents are free of sickness and nothing disturbs them in their daily activities, especially children.”

    Subject: URGENT ASSISTANCE NEEDED NO ELECTRICITY

    Good day

    My name is Brenda Kamanga, residing at Block N No 6, Tshiawelo Flats.

    I use prepaid electricity, my meter number is 07080638997, I have been without electricity for about almost 2 weeks now.

    I have contacted the call centre on 086 003 7566 on several occasions, logged calls and was given the following reference numbers and lost track of other reference numbers:

    1. 121611646;

    2. 1216133541; and

    3. 121665435 (02/06/2014)

    4. 121735007 (03/06/2014) – 14h41pm

    Yesterday I attended your offices at Midway Eskom, stayed away from work and wasted my petrol running up and down like a headless chicken. The instrument/box has the number or error 30, does not accept electricity tokens.. The instrument was checked and there is nothing wrong with it. I came to your offices 6 times because I have been logging calls and no one has ever attended any of them. I have been waiting for an Eskom field worker called Jabu Twala who they said will attend to my query but failed to pitch. Even in the afternoon he had not yet collected a list of queries lodged by residents that he was supposed to attend.

    I was promised on all these 6 occasions that Jabu Twala is on his way to my place and will be there in 45 minutes. I went up and down the whole day until 16h30, to date I do not have electricity.

    Please escalate my query and resolve this as a matter of extreme urgency.
