As the 2024 general elections loom, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal leader, John Steenhuisen wrapped up his Rescue South Africa tour on May 9 at the Blackchain Centre in Diepkloof.

The session was mainly focused on outlining how the DA plans to rescue South Africa’s economic hub from the corruption that has been ongoing for decades and rescue South Africa from the current leadership.

“This election is about survival, it’s about freedom of democracy, and it’s about making our future survive here in South Africa,” Steenhuisen said.

He also spoke about the change citizens should expect should DA become the next ruling party.

DA leader greeted the community members who attended the tour before delivering his speech.

He promised things such as load-shedding and water shortages coming to an end, more employment opportunities, and a better and safer South Africa.

Rescue South Africa is the DA’s biggest campaign tour in history where there’s an engagement with voters across the country at events that include indoor rallies with musical performances, political speeches, and audio-visual content.
