George Khoza pupils go to work

Take a girl child to work, goes well.

As part of the Take A Girl Child To Work initiative, Legal Aid South Africa in Maponya Mall, exposed pupils from George Khoza Secondary School in Dobsonville to the workplace recently.

“The day aimed at exposing South African girl pupils to as many career opportunities that are available and give them a broader perspective on the field of career choice they would like to pursue,” said Abongile Shumani, from Legal Aid South Africa.

The primary theme for this year’s campaign is “Dream, Believe, and Achieve”.

“It aims to remind girl pupils that they have the power to make their greatest dreams come true by believing in themselves and not forgetting the importance of empowering themselves with information and knowledge,” said Mpho Phasha, communications executive at Legal Aid.
