Winter games reward local talent
Young local soccer players braved the cold weather last week and took part in the Protea Football League Winter Games.

Young local soccer players braved the cold weather last week and took part in the Protea Football League Winter Games.
Hosted at the Ext 4 Soccer Grounds, the tournament forms part of the league’s initiative to encourage and promote local talent while celebrating the beautiful game.
Tebogo Mahlahlane, Deputy Chairperson of the Protea Football League and one of the organisers of the tournament said they wanted to celebrate local players and reward them for taking a positive step towards building their future.

He thanked all the teams and residents for making the tournament a success. Mzwandile Khathi captured some of the action.
