The Community Policing Forum CPF of Naledi warns the youth against making bad choices that will affect their future negatively
The aim of them getting together is to make sure that the youth understands the importance of making choices that will shape their future.
They say they want to share their story so that other younger people don’t go through the same experiences they have gone through.
Zandile Khoza from the CPF spoke at the department of education award ceremony and said that passing matric is only the beginning.
“Your future is shaped by the choices we make now.
“There is a certain time in life when you need to make choices which will either make or break you, and the school leaving years are one of those critical years.
“All of us here had dreams to be somewhere far in life but we live to regret the choices we’ve made in our early days, Khoza said.
Lindiwe Masoko is also part of the CPF and said that young people like doing ‘cool’ things but make bad choices, they need the kind of people they like who will help them make informed choices.
