Families are invited to bring their dogs, a picnic blanket and a food basket for a pawsome family day out in the sun to raise funds for the association’s 70 Days of Giving campaign.

The organisation aims to raise R700 000 over 70 days through various campaigns and initiatives by local brands.

The local businesses will host a Pupcakes for Hope initiative at the event, whereby pupcakes and other treats will be on sale.

Doggy activities will also be available, as well as demonstrations and giveaways.

Other activities will include peanut butter painting, a photo booth with props, a pawprint keepsake station, a Cookie Monster race, adopt-a-toy, a taste test challenge, smooch-your-pooch kissing booth and barko – doggie bingo (each ticket purchase gets a bingo card on the day).
