The media company will be implementing its latest project targeted at promoting and showcasing local gospel artists, and praise and worship teams from various churches.

“We are looking for an individual or group of artists who are looking to take the next step and receive serious PR marketing and management. We are looking for artists who already have albums or a single to market and promote,” Shaun Baba said.

He explained that the team was looking to scout for 30 to 50 gospel artists in the first phase but the number will be cut down to 10 artists who are chosen for the group.

“In our country, gospel music is one of the highest paying gigs and it’s sad to see upcoming gospel artists spending money to record albums but are yet to get paid for their hard work,” he explains.

“We have artists who have five albums but don’t know how important it is to register with Samro or Risa. We want to empower these artists with the know-how and the business side of the industry.”

All the artists in the Xtreme Praise and worship project will be promoted under the Xtreme Creations umbrella while included in the Praise and worship team.

Baba said this will include individual PR communication and Marketing, Radio station and TV/online submissions, assistance with registering and bookings and management for all artists.

“Our ultimate goal is to assist struggling, budding and upcoming gospel artists to be given exposure and recognition through marketing and management of their work.

“This will lead to a possible career launch pad and breakaway successes, in the process create jobs and employment opportunities,” said Baba.

The company recently partnered with the Protea Glen radio station as their official media partner. It further shared that the show will be in two formats, a podcast and live performances which will be aired fortnightly on RSTV channel on StarSat.

“Remember we are not a recording studio but if you need directions we can assist. We have studios we have partnered with including companies who can shoot quality music videos.”
