According to Tsakane, she has never perceived herself as a pageant queen or fitting in the world of pageantry. This is all because of the stereotypical norms around what constitute beauty and worthiness of the crown.

“I wanted to challenge these stereotypes of beauty and body shape.

“So that one day another girl that looks likes me should feel pretty enough to stand on platforms like these and follow in the of those women who have paved a way for us,” Tsakane explained.

Friends and family had a lot to say about their queen since they have always been part of her upbringing and growth. Only reachable fruits can live out the blessings that they receive from their elders.
