Maponya Mall gets another taste of Basha Uhuru

Maponya Mall is hosting monthly Bash in Casa music showcases, giving customers a (free!) taste of the hottest new sounds to be served up at the main event.

Nando’s is once again firing up the Basha Uhuru Freedom Festival, taking place from October 28 to 30 at Constitution Hill.

Leading up to the event, Nando’s Maponya Mall is hosting monthly Bash in Casa music showcases, giving customers a (free!) taste of the hottest new sounds to be served up at the main event.

This sunday, festival headliner Msaki will be performing along with rising talents from Nando’s music partner, Bridges For Music.

“The idea is to not only get people fired up for Basha Uhuru later this year, but also to bring Basha to the people and to showcase emerging talents from our music programmes,” says Kirsty Niehaus.

“Previously, our guest musos have included Langa Mavuso, Sio and Aymos, as well as up-and-coming talents from Bridges For Music and the Nando’s internal music talent search, Nandocas Uhurus. The event continues to grow and we’re sure Msaki will pull a big crowd.

“Basha Uhuru ticket sales are going on sale this month and we’re exciting about using these Basha in Casa events to build up towards the festival itself.”

 

Areyeng! Join Sowetans as they celebrate South Ah’s most talented musos and witness songstress Msaki perform some of her hit singles, including Khusela, Thando and Wish you were here. She will be joined by Basetsana and Kallo, two rising local stars.

Get your dancing shoes ready and come witness great music, food and ambiance at this month’s Basha in Casa on August 21 from 14:00 pm to 16:00pm.
