It was all fun and games at the foundation where over 100 children from Eldorado Park and Freedom Park came together to celebrate the anniversary.

As the foundation turned 10 years old, Ensley Britoe who is the founder took a moment to reflect on the journey.

“It’s unbelievable and I didn’t think that it was possible for us to grow to ten years when we started off. It was just a matter of giving back to the community and seeing where it goes.

“These ten years have been challenging but I am so thankful to everyone who assists the organisation,” said Britoe.

“This morning when I woke up, I got emotional because I was thinking about my mother Gail Britoe and just wished that she could see where the foundation is today.

“She planted the tree and now the fruits are what we reap.

“She was the most caring, loving, giving and kindest person I know. She would give her last to someone in need. This is all in honour of her.”

The organisation had several sponsors for the day which allowed the children to enjoy jumping castles, party packs, cool drinks, cakes, oranges, and food.

Britoe shared that it is God who placed him there to do this work and he has grown to love every moment of running the foundation. The founder also mentioned how much he appreciates his volunteers who are teenagers.

They could be doing anything else but they chose spend their time at the organisation serving where they can and just being good role models to the little ones.

The celebration started at around 10:00am and went on into the late afternoon where children had fun on the jumping castles and ate until they couldn’t anymore.
