He was the Station Commander in Sandton, Fairlands, Brixton, as well as Midrand. He also served in Alexandra at the former cluster office as the coordinator of five police stations. Maluleke holds a National Diploma in Policing, B-Tech Degree in Policing, Doctor of Philosophy and Legal Studies as well as a Master’s Degree in Forensic Investigation.

He indicated that before he arrived at Eldorado Park SAPS to serve as the Station Commander, he conducted thorough research concerning all the challenges pertaining to the Greater Eldorado Park.

With the insight gained and information gathered, he has developed his own turnaround strategy on changing and improving the image of the police in the area. He indicated that he has undergone numerous police training courses in order to fully equip and prepare himself to best serve the Greater Eldorado Park.

He is determined to focus on the restoration of trust between the community and police. He emphasised that the integrated approach between the community, stakeholders and police is one of the solutions in restoring Eldorado Park to its glorious state.

He furthermore plans to eliminate alcohol abuse which has proven to be a major contributing factor to cases of GBV, murder, robberies, and aggravated crimes.

“I will ensure that feedback regarding case investigations are communicated to the complainants and that each member is in line with and implements practices of the Batho Pele principles,” he said.

Maluleke welcomes all stakeholders and is prepared to work with Faith-Based Organisations, political leaders, Non-Governmental Organisations and security companies in order to restore Eldorado Park.

“Socio-economic factors cannot and will not be tolerated as an excuse for committing criminal acts. I will make use of what we have, and any lack thereof cannot be used as an excuse for the lack of service delivery,” Brigadier Maluleke stated.

The community should expect an increase in police visibility and numerous operations inclusive of stop and searches, raids of properties and the prosecution of illegal immigrants in contravention of Section 49(1) of the Immigration Act 13 of 2002, which will be applied by SAPS Eldorado Park.

Brigadier Maluleke pleaded that mob justice is not the solution to curb crime and that the residents must allow the law to take its course in order for justice to prevail. He aims to place Eldorado Park on the map for great things and has a zero-tolerance approach to crime and in this regard, expects more solutions instead of complaints.

Brigadier Maluleke will be partnering with the Kliptown Station Commanders as both share a similar vision and mission. “I believe that education is the cornerstone of success, and I encourage people to seek the face of God, all the time. This is God’s appointment in order to bring peace. I decree that every evil altar raised by enemies to stop the community of Eldorado Park from having peace will scatter by fire, Isaiah 44:25. I have prepared myself to be tested and challenged, so I have enough strength to stand up for the community. Criminals shall bow down,” he concluded. Brigadier Maluleke can be contacted on 011 946 0395 or alternatively on 082 923 9124.
