Malome Vector’s romantic chant

A story about a boy who is in love.

Valentine’s day may have passed but it is still the month of love. Lesotho-born artist Bokang Moleli better known as Malome Vector takes us down memory lane with his new single titled ‘Nobody’.

The 28-year-old who got signed to the recording label Ambitiouz Entertainment last year started his musical journey at the young age of 14-years-old. Just months after releasing his singles ‘Dumelang’ and ‘Follow’, the rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer released his third single ‘Nobody’.

‘Nobody’ is where he sings about him being a village boy who wants to marry a beautiful girl who people feel is way out of his league. Love conquers all, therefore, the girl stands by his side no matter what other people are saying. The latest single is inspired by an old song also titled ‘Nobody’ and Malome Vector keeps the song relatable to the old one by keeping the famous “Ayabayaba” from the original song. The single is in Sesotho with an afro-pop twist.

Malome Vector would not like to be boxed into a specific genre but rather prefers to be open to all kinds. When it comes to where he gets his inspiration from, the artist shared that it comes from everyday life experiences and hopes that his music can comfort and inspire fans.

The single ‘Nobody’ was released on Friday, January 29 together with a music video that tells a story of a young man who is in love.   Malome Vector is nominated at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2021 and strongly believes that people will love the new offering and that it will become one of the biggest songs to be released in 2021.
