Mlangeni arrives at his home in Dube, to be laid to rest tomorrow
Struggle stalwart will be honoured with state funeral.
The remains of the late struggle stalwart Dr. Andrew Mlangeni have arrived at his home in Dube.
The coffin was received by members of Umkhonto Wesizwe and members of the ANC NEC who all converged at the home of Mlangeni to pay their last respect.
Parts of the processions were the draping of the coffin with ANC colours and members of MK members marching in honour of one of their own.
Addressing mourners, ANC Treasurer-General Paul Mashatile described Bab’ Mlangeni as a father and a leader who always provided guidance to current leaders.

Bab’ Mlangeni passed away at the 1 Military Hospital after being admitted with abdominal pain. The former Robben Island captive will be laid to rest tomorrow in a category one state funeral.
The funeral service will be held at the University of Johannesburg’s Soweto Campus.
