50 years old arrested for the Eesterust murder in Eldos
According to a media statement supplied by Provincial Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele detectives, crime prevention unit and Tshwane district task team followed a tip- off that the suspect had fled to Eldorado Park.
A 50 years old male has been arrested for the alleged murder of a 42 years old women that happened on Sundat, June 14 in Eesterust Pretoria.
According to a media statement supplied by Provincial Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele detectives, crime prevention unit and Tshwane district task team followed a tip- off that the suspect had fled to Eldorado Park.
Makhubele stated that the police tried to trace the suspect on the same day when the incident happened but they did not find him.

He said on June 15 the team received the information again that he was sported in the above mentioned community which is where the suspect was arrested.
“The suspect is set to appear in Pretoria court in due course,” he said.
Gauteng Provincial commissioner Lieutenant Alias Mawela strongly condemns the killings of women and he called upon communities, activists Non Profitable Organisations(NGOs) to raise awareness about Gender Based violence and help fight it.
