The Diepkloof Trio Task Team on a manhunt for armed robbers in Soweto
Several cases of armed robbery in different Shoprite USave[s] in Soweto have been opened and the robbers captured on CCTV are at large.
The Trio Task Team based in Diepkloof is yet on another manhunt after several cases of armed robbery in different Shoprite USave[s] in Soweto have been opened and the alleged robbers, captured on CCTV, are at large.
Communications officer for Diepkloof SAPS, Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto explained that the random armed robberies seem like a syndicate that has targeted at the USave Shoprite Super Markets in Soweto including the supermarkets in Kliptown, Pimville, Orlando and Nkabinde Box.
The different men, some of which are heavily armed, seem determined to rob the entities that are sought by the Trio Task Team East Cluster.

Matlou-Mteto said, “We motivate the people to help the police with any information they may have in leading to the arrest of the sought robbers, however, because the men may be heavily armed and dangerous, we urge the people to never approach any of the men caught on CCTV while implementing their crimes.”
The suspects faces are now on CCTV because they were captured while performing the armed robberies have been at large, but the police have been hard at work in making sure they are caught and called to answer for their crimes.
Communications officer explained that the people who might recognize the suspects on the pictures can either call 0800 11 88 79 for free.
People with information can even visit their nearest police station, the men were last seen in the Usave[s] at Klptown, Pimville, and Orlando.
Matlou-Mteto said, “These armed robbers move around targeting different Shoprite Usave Super Markets in various areas of Soweto.”
