Thomas Mofolo principal says the school has performed better than expected

Thomas Mofolo High School scores 48% bachelor’s degree exceeding their 40% target mark for 2019, the school obtained 86% according to the school principal Gwen Kgasoane.
The school had 145 registered matriculants and managed to get 48 % bachelor’s, 38 % diploma and 13 % higher certificate.

The leaners obtained a distinction in history, life orientation, Setswana and geography. A 100% pass rate in geography, life sciences, history and 50 % pass in mathematics for the first time.
“Our 2019 results are almost similar to our 2018 results, this year we are a percentage higher but last year’s results were much better,” said Kgasoane.
