Hostel dweller burns beyond recognition.
The police have been searching for clues leading to the cause of the fire that burnt one of the hostel dwellers in Diepkloof Zone Six beyond recognition.
The poor victim was burnt beyond recognition when a blaze swallowed his/her place in the Hostels at Diepkloof, where the police have been left wondering who the burnt victim was.
The spokesperson for Diepkloof SAPS, Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto explained that neither the victim’s identity has been found out as of yet and that the cause of the fierce fire was unknown.
Matlou-Mteto said, “We are still trying to figure out the identity of the burned victim because the fire was so bad, that person was burned beyond recognition. We have our suspicions though and we are investigating the cause of the fierce fire.”

The spokesperson for the police further went on to say that the people from Diepkloof should be mindful of uncontrollable fires that turn into destroying flames, she said, “The people must be very responsible with fires and must never leave their heaters unattended.
She said people must even be able to put up their candles at home on positions that won’t see them fall and burn the entire house whenever there is load shedding.
Rolling down on the ground is an effective way of extinguishing the fire from your clothes, she said that especially recently with load shedding reaching different stages, people must be extra careful to not start fatal fires.
Any person from Zone Six in Diepkloof who suspects that it was their relative who unfortunately burnt in the fire may contact the police station.
