8-year-old boy killed in a fire in Florida
"Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead."
An 8-year-old boy was killed late Sunday night in a residence fire at the Goldman and 3rd Road in Florida.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a fire had broken out in one of the flats. Several people had already evacuated and were now crowded on the pavement.

Paramedics began to assess the patients and found that seven were suffering mild smoke inhalation. The patients were treated but later declined transportation to a hospital.
Once the Fire Services had extinguished the blaze, the body of an 8-year-old boy was found.

Unfortunately, the boy had already succumbed to his injuries. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
